As it is situated next to the sea, the fish is fresh as always! The fish quality is damn good to the point that it was really a memorable dining experience for me. Waiting time was not that long but there were many seagulls in that area that keep flying near the fish and chip place which can be annoying as the seagulls can fly around in the outdoor area of the place when people are seen having their meals Nevertheless, it’s still a great fish and chip place due to the superb quality of fish and chips, attributed to the location of being near the sea, despite many seagulls having a tendency to fly near or around the outdoor area of fish and chips stall

Here at Golden they nailed it, if you love lightly battered fish and chips! Worth the waiting time to get this beautiful piece of quality and golden brown of fish and chips as it should, keep the consistency! **be careful of the pigeon**

Our second tried on Fish & Chip from Melbourne. We find this store is much better as the fish after fried still soft and juicy. The flour used is just good for this dish. The is thicker comparing to those from M. It soft inside and crispy outside.

Our tour guide Terry recommended this spot, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the seafood bucket and probably over-ordered but it was worth it, huge servings of freshly fried seafood that left us completely full and happy. The flake was really good, light and crispy, and the burgers were also amazing. Definitely a great place for sharing, especially if you’re in a group. Generous portions, tasty food, and perfect for a seaside meal in Cowes. Highly recommended!

Friendly and welcoming customer service. I ordered the fish of the day with chips - the portion was generous, and everything was fresh. I asked for the fish to be grilled instead of battered, and they were happy to accommodate at no extra charge. They also included tartare sauce in the pack for free. Great value! The grilled fish had excellent flavour, and everything tasted delicious. Very happy with my lunch!

Food was the best fish and chips I’ve had in ages. Price was $60 for fish, chips, dim sims, potato cakes and sauces. I was really impressed with the home made sauces that they had as well. We got seating easy enough and it wasn’t too busy. The views of the beach front is really nice as well. Parking can be tricky on a busy day, might be easier to park down by the beach spots

This is more a take away than eat in, hence the atmosphere score. There was some outdoor seating that may look towards the beach but it was dark. Inside had tables but it was traditional fish and chips shop basic tables. The food was amazing. Dim aims, potato cakes, crab sticks, chips and fish were all great and we were asked if we wanted chicken salt (who doesn't? ). The chips were soft and potatoee on the inside with a slight crunch on the outside and had a few of those super crunchy ones too - so something for everyone. The service was super fast and we got a free tartar sauce with the order. They even had take away cutlery if you needed it. Reasonably priced too. Sorry no pics as it looked too delicious to think about photos!
